Early Permian Era
The Silent Revelation
Before human blueprints existed, there was only silence, primordial water, and towering cliff faces standing guard over the rainforest canopy.
In the late 1990s, when founders walked into this secluded valley hidden behind dense foliage in Tambun, Ipoh, they discovered an ancient amphitheatre of sheer vertical limestone embracing a pristine 4-acre lake. It was not viewed as raw land for extraction or commercial density, but as an ecological sacred ground requiring absolute architectural deference.
The decision was made at inception: zero quarrying, zero disruption to subterranean aquifers, and zero blasting of the karst formations. Instead, the resort would gently wrap the perimeter, leaving the ancient water and its guardian monolith completely untouched.
Archival Narrative
The 14-storey iconic karst rock monolith, preserved as the ecological focal point of the estate.
"We did not create this magnificence. We simply built a respectful threshold so humanity could witness it."— Peter Chan, Founder & Chief Visionary
280 Million Years in the Making
Dating back to the Permian geologic period—long before the age of the dinosaurs—these towers are living records of Earth's elemental dynamism, housing an autonomous micro-ecosystem.
Subterranean Spring System
The 4-acre centerpiece lake is not stagnant rainwater; it is fed continuously by natural underwater limestone springs. The water constantly filters through subterranean mineral fissures, yielding exceptional purity and a vibrant aquatic biome.
Negative Ion Microclimate
Enclosed by massive limestone karsts and fed by cascading mist, the estate creates an atmospheric phenomena rich in negative air ions. Guests experience natural thermal cooling of up to 3°C lower than metropolitan Ipoh.
Endemic Flora & Aviary Haven
The vertical karst cliffs support calcicolous plants, rare cycads, and serve as nesting sanctuaries for over 50 resident and migratory bird species, including hornbills, eagles, and iridescent kingfishers.
The Rock Monolith: An Unbroken 280-Million-Year Sentinel
Known locally as 'Palaeo-karst', surviving tectonic shifts and continuous monsoon cycles without fracturing.

Lake Biosphere Protection
Zero motorized watercraft are permitted on the lake. Water quality tests are conducted weekly by independent hydrologists, preserving prehistoric fish species and aquatic flora.
Rainwater Harvesting
Over 60% of landscape irrigation is powered by subterranean rainwater cisterns capturing tropical rainfall, drastically reducing reliance on municipal municipal infrastructure.
Single-Use Elimination
100% elimination of single-use guest plastics since 2018. Bespoke glass bottling, biodegradable amenities made from local bamboo, and refillable botanical formulations.
Perak Community First
85% of our staff originate from Perak communities. We partner with local organic pomelo farmers, artisan tea producers, and ceramic craftsmen to celebrate regional culture.
Designed to Dissolve Into the Cliffside
The Haven's towers do not dominate; they yield. Curved gracefully in an arc following the natural lake contour, each tower is oriented so every suite enjoys an uninterrupted panoramic window into geological history.
